I've been leading and managing this team since 2017. This team creates and manages batch programs in Java to process our client’s data and also ensures all PII are encrypted. The team also works on a module in a web application to manage this data, including using the positions to reconcile the clients’ data. A subset of this team also works on managing a Talend project that converts the data from multiple sources to a standard format and stores the output in a warehouse to be used by our application. I’ve been a developer in a second but interconnected team creating and managing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and their associated backend services for our client data. I’ve recently started leading this team as well.Key Responsibilities:- Coordinating cross functional efforts between stakeholders and developers to understand requirements and deliver effective results.- Setting team goals, defining priorities, allocating resources effectively, and planning sprints.- Discussing and defining the roadmap with the CTO and the stakeholders.- Performing code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed- Providing technical guidance and also domain expertise to the team.- Developing new features and also fixing bugs.- Collecting metrics to measure the team's impact.- Planning technical projects to improve the processes.- Managing the integration of a third party tool based on Talend with our application.- Conducting periodic one-on-one discussions with the team members to share helpful feedback and also build rapport.- Conducting annual performance reviews.
