Work directly with the Product teams, Sales Engineering team, and Regional Sales teams to drive interest and demand for specific products and solutions across the Good product line.Function as a technical expert and provide deep understanding of products and solutions across Good’s products and related technologies.• Provide advanced product and solution interest and knowledge to Sales and Professional Services by effectively presenting, architecting, demonstrating, and conducting training/workshops of Good products and solutions.• Support sales needs by providing clients with the data and information necessary to successfully communication the deep technical aspects of Good’s products and services.• Representation of the technical field (Solution Engineering) teams and our customers to advocate the customer perspective and customer requirements cross-functionally back into Product Engineering, Product Management and Product Marketing.• Support specific vertical product solutions and solution workflows.• Build and maintain sales engagement lab environments on-premises physical, virtualized and hosted.• Prepare / review technical education documentation for Good and ISV partner products.• Perform technical review of product documentation.• Technical liaison working closely with product management, product marketing, engineering, channel and field sales organizations to develop a highly skilled workforce, collaborate on strategy, GTM, solutions, and opportunity pursuits.• Continuously develop and maintain reusable solutions and tools to the Solution Engineering team, enabling their sales and support efforts.• Work directly with the Product Groups on new and upgrade product cycles.• Deliver solutions on a broad set of industry technologies and enterprise applications, Cloud solutions, virtualization solutions, operating systems, storage, security, enterprise systems management, networking, and business continuity, as well as on mobile development.

A technical sales engineer combine’s technical knowledge with sales skills. The emphasis of the work varies depending on the level of technical knowledge and understanding needed to sell competently the product or service offered and respond effectively to clients' queries. Clients are usually technical staff from agencies or direct clients. To ensure clients' and their own company's needs are met, technical sales engineers liaise regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as product management, engineering, client services and senior company managers. Travelling to visit potential clients within region; managing and interpreting customer requirements - listening to clients and using astute questioning to understand, anticipate and exceed their needs; persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality and ROI.

Provide our customers access to a wide range of product and application development expertise to help software developers accelerate the development cycle and produce successful applications. Help customers build and deploy software applications using Microsoft products and technologies, via direct collaboration or by facilitating access to other resources within Microsoft as well as leverage other ADCs or even other groups within Microsoft to provide the best service possible. Execute performance technology architecture assessments, workshops, prototyping, application design reviews, performance benchmarks, code reviews, porting/migration assistance, configuration management and general development consulting among other things. Develop and maintain strong trust/working relationships with assigned accounts while developing and expanding a deep knowledge of current and pre-release Microsoft systems, products, and platforms.
