Pareto Hockey is a start-up data-analytics organization that works to contextualize hockey data to predict future success for players. Although the idea started a few years ago, we have been working on a stat model searching across hundreds of leagues and thousands of players to identify who the future stars of the NHL will be.My responsibilities include product and project management, development (python), operations, and strategy.

* Further secure our applications and cloud infrastructure by investigating threats and building small automated scripts that would empower the operations team quickly and easily respond to common incidents* Proactively identify bad actors as they attempt to engage with our systems and use this information to make recommendations for improved process and controls* Collaborate with our engineering teams and act as incident commander managing our response and stakeholder expectations* Partner with our Security Engineers to monitor, refine, and expand our SIEM and SOAR platforms* Coordinate with the Transaction Risk Management team to investigate potential fraudulent activity* Participate in an on-call rotation for responding to security incidents, internal questions & bugs, or triaged bug bounty security reports
