Daniel has a deep passion for technology, data, and sustainability. He has held multiple positions at Environment and Climate Change Canada working as a data analyst with over 4 years of experience working with complex datasets to inform decisions in reporting, risk assessment and regulatory focused businesses. Alongside a talented team, Daniel contributed to 3 major data inventories and publications in 2020 which include Canada's National Inventory Report submission to the United Nations, Air Pollutants Inventory and the Black Carbon Report. He has managed the PCB and Storage Tank System for Petroleum Products environmental databases and advised industry leaders on compliance with Canadian oil and gas regulations. He has also lead the risk assessment of over 900 chemicals through extensive data work which includes research, extraction, compilation, cleaning, parsing, transforming and analysis of the data.As a former research student at Ryerson University, Daniel has utilized his diverse skill set to produce a low-cost, environmentally sustainable material that can help provide clean water to countries with polluted drinking water more efficiently compared to other existing materials.Daniel looks to further improve his skill set through new experiences to become a greater asset to employers as well as the world.
