I have grown to love science and it's applications and impacts in the society, and I want to be part of the contribution of what science can offer us, most especially here in Nigeria. It's an opportunity for me here to be around people who are willing to teach and gain new knowledge.Currently, I am volunteering at Onitsha Medical Diagnostic Centre as junior laboratory assistant where I collect and prepare samples for DNA testing, and molecular diagnostics for cancers, STDs, and other infectious diseases. These years, I have gained knowledge in this field volunteering under Dr Nwaoguikpe( PhD in Medical Biochemistry) who's a molecular biologist at Onitsha Medical Diagnostic Centre, as I prepare myself for college.As a recent high school graduate, I'm working towards a B.Sc. in the biological sciences field with a focus on molecular biology and genetics. I want to be able to conduct experiments, analyze data, and contribute to understanding biological processes, disease mechanisms like cancers, and potential treatments or therapies. I am committed to using my education to pursue my career 🙏😊
