Worked at Revere Copper as a Mechanical Engineering Intern during the summer of 2022, where I worked extensively with AutoCAD to create and design machine parts and update existing ones. Furthermore, I completed projects that required considerable hand calculations, determining the strength of structures and possible failure points needed to rate the structure to the required standards. This internship proved to be a demanding yet very rewarding experience, where I got to apply many of the theories and calculations learned in class in the field.

My summer with Petribu working as an engineering intern was a great experience that allowed for several hands-on projects, close contact with experienced mechanical and electrical engineers, and regular communication with machine operators. This internship taught me a lot about what it means to be an engineer, interact with contractors, and uphold safety practices.
