I am a litigation lawyer, practicing in Christchurch, New Zealand.My practice encompasses a wide range of civil litigation. I have particular experience in insurance disputes. I regularly provide advice to major insurers about policy interpretation, the drafting of agreements, liability defence, and subrogated recoveries.In recent times, my practice has focussed on the legal issues arising out of the Christchurch earthquakes.I regularly appear in the District Court and High Court, acting for both plaintiffs and defendants, in hearings which have included Judicial Review, negligence, breach of contract, land disputes, trusts, equity, and Family Protection claims.I also have a particular interest in insolvency, receiverships and debt recovery.
