As field manager for a landscape maintenance company, I managed and ran the day to day operations in the field including:- Ensuring equipment is maintained and prepared for daily routes of multiple crews- Replacing any missing equipment or tools- Bringing equipment in for repairs when needed, including stand-on mowers, trucks and trailers- Ensuring trailers are empty or prepared for loading- Coordinate with the Office Manager for the daily, weekly and monthly goals- Assessing the daily routes for multiple crews to prevent complications- Coordinating with crew leaders to communicate daily plans- Execute various landscaping tasks including lawn care maintenance and rejuvenation, hedge trimming, tree pruning, property cleanups, lawn and landscape installation, retraining walls, fence building, pressure washing, etc.- Assessing and reporting all damaged, malfunctioning or faulty equipment in the field- Perform emergency repairs on failing equipment in the field- Create new strategies for daily complications- Provide detailed quotes to the office for all new leads- Train employees to be 'helper' or 'crew leader'- Provide weekly assessments to the Franchise OwnerTasks also included regional work for Jim's Mowing Canada such as:- Provide weekly assessments to the Franchise owner and Regional Franchisor- Train potential Jim's Mowing Franchisees how to do the work- Educate potential Jim's Mowing Franchisees on the Jim's Mowing business model- Report to the Regional Franchisor on potential new Franchisees
