PCI is the largest Property/Casualty insurance trade association in the United States serving over 1000 member companies. The association is involved in developing public policy and seeking legislative change for the insurance industry in all 50 states. Managed and facilitated PCI's public policy committees in the areas of Motor Vehicle Insurance, Safety and the Residual Markets. Served as PCI's spokesman for motor vehicle related media out reach programs and inquires from the press. This included major print publications, radio and TV. Ran PCI's Underwriting Seminar and developed agenda items as well as obtaining key speakers for the event.Served on various industry groups for the Association including the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA), the Insurance Industry Committee on Motor Vehicle Administration (IICMVA), the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), and AIPSO in the residual market area.Reviewed, monitored and wrote amendments on a wide variety of personal lines related legislation.Conducted extensive research and drafted legislation on many motor vehicle issues including: compulsory data reporting, no-fault insurance, safety issues, uninsured motorists, residual markets and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Served as an expert witness and testified on numerous property and casualty bills and regulations throughout the country.Appointed to many state auto insurance boards reviewing such issues as compulsory insurance, no-fault, safety, auto theft and motor vehicle reports.
