FIRST emphasizes developing the next generation of scientists and engineers by getting students excited about math and science in the sports-arena format.In the 2007 season I provided some hours of classroom instruction to teach students basic circuit theory and basic software concepts, and helped to teach and manage the students to complete development and coding activities in C on time while staying motivated and having fun. In the 2008 season, I led the development of an omni-drive control algorithm for the robot to be able to go straight, strafe, and spin using mecanum (diagonal roller) wheels, and also led the process of invention of game-controller response functions for omni-drive control system that made the robot much more easy and fun to drive using an X-box 360 controller.

Provided technical support including password issues, virus and network problems, email and pc configuration. Created, resolved, and followed up on RightNow ™ help tickets until their closure. Wrote illustrated tutorials for the IIT support website.
