I have spent most of my life involved with Sport and/or Recreation. After gaining a Bachelor of Physical Education at the University of Otago, I went on to play professional netball in the ANZ Premiership. Alongside this, I volunteered, managed, coached and coordinated netball and other sports, across a number of organisations. Once my netball career came to an end, I switched codes, to a sport in which I had no previous experience and found myself employed at Auckland Softball. While my role didn’t require in-depth knowledge of game specifics, I found that majority of my skills gained during my previous sporting endeavours transferred nicely to this role. Working in Softball in New Zealand was a hugely enjoyable learning curve that added another tool to my sporting belt.Now, I have started a new challenge at The Professional Cricketers Association in London, where I am excited to put my skills to use in yet another sporting code!
