Lely is an international family business and pioneer in automation of the agricultural sector. I started here as a Financial Controller, where I was responsible for five administrations. My responsibilities included annual budgeting and year-end closing for the Netherlands, Great Britain and Belgium, among others. I was also a member of the management team.

A government agency for the city of Schiedam, taking care of the infrastructure and public spaces of Schiedam (water management, bridges, roads, energy etc).Working as the head of the financial administration I was responsible for the day-to-day business of 8 administrations, reporting to the board on a monthly basis, making forecasts and budgets.

I worked at the Working Capital Department as a case handler, facilitating the financial needs of the larger (international) companies worldwide. Opening bank accounts, setting up electronic banking and assessing signature authority.

Besides that, I monitored the credit lines we facilitated to our customers and safeguarded the shipments of goods to be well within these financial limits.Being from former Yugoslavian descent I decided my upbringing and the language could be of use to implement initial sales and facilitate the growth in this area. The countries I was responsible for were Rumania, Bulgaria, Serbia & Montenegro, Bosnia Herzegovina and Macedonia. My customers were local distributors and retail businesses (business to business). Contracts, terms and conditions were negotiated and finalized by me in final documents

Post & Co is the independent partner for marine liability and logistics insurances for all players in the logistical chain, such as ship owners and charterers, terminal and transport operators, NVOCC’s, transport intermediaries and port authorities. Their offices are located in Rotterdam, Seoul and Antwerp. At Post & Co I learned the traditional ways of insuring marine liability as a junior broker. Post & Co analyses and covers risks under full authority of Lloyds’ and other P&I Clubs, such as the Newcastle Protections and Indemnity Association. I learned the international laws on marine insurance liabilities and assessed and accepted risks, negotiated terms and conditions and drafted the insurance contracts.
