It’s worth noting that Danny’s motivation translates across the board, including towards training others in best known methods. During my time with Danny in other roles, I’ve watched him bring Engineers up to speed on modeling and drawing standards, travel to Suzhou and train peers for a new production line, and enlighten key team members on the use of PCB Connector software to streamline electro-mechanical interface design and fixturing. Danny’s dependability and broad skillset made him an invaluable asset to the teams he supported. During the Pandemic, he coordinated across multiple departments to ensure that any issues he identified while supporting the production line in a technical capacity and from a material availability standpoint were addressed quickly and completely to ensure on-time product shipment and prevent shipment of defects. Danny also helped ensure that test plans for material substitutions due to supply chain shortages were implemented and were communicated to downstream teams. Danny helped maintain operational capability during the pandemic peak, when personnel shortages and material delays were the norm, and added safety protocols were at their peak. I have never known him to shy away from a task, from turning wrenches to mitigate personnel shortages, to traveling to remote sites to ensure production scalability; he has always been someone I could point at a challenge and see it resolved.
