This is one of the projects I was working on:McKesson Radiology Disc (DiscView) project------------------------------------------------------------The product itself is a fusion of the entire McKesson Radiology family of products: Backend, DICOM, Radiology Station, HTML, in-house Browser, Reporting, and Image Processing platform, delivered as zero-footprint software to the end-user PC.I have led a team of software developers, SA, testers, technical writers, and other members of the team to achieve timely product release.This is a short list of my tasks:- envision, architect, and implement key features- design intercommunication API - organize the implementation of inter-team features- analyze and prioritize issues - provide time estimates for features- carry out code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with policies- create design documents for the product- review all related documents (including requirements, use cases, test plans/cases, user guides, and help files)- write configuration guides for the product- add/update FAQ items for an internal technical support and knowledge transferThe project used the following tools and techniques: - GUI: C#, Visual C++, HTML using JavaScript and XML/XSL transformations- middleware: C# with WCF, OpenStep EOModel, COM+, ASP - Backend: Objective-C, Visual C++, C- Database: Oracle DB and specifically developed text-based DBRadiology Disc was highly praised by radiologists and has became omnipresent swiss-army-knife tool in surgery rooms and referenced physicians' offices because of backward and forward compatibility, zero-footprint installation, extensive set of standalone features, and lightning-fast dependable performance.
