Born and bred in Northumberland, I travelled around the world with my family living in the Middle East and Asia. Now, back in the UK teaching children remotely all over the world. I teach everything from Primary to GCSE English and Maths but, specialise in EAL. I have a passion for learning and being reflective in my own teaching. I believe every child is different and every child has a right to an education that doesn't make them feel negatively about their abilities. I think it's important to educate children as a whole and not just on curriculum outcomes or that the UK school system is for everyone. Building the foundations of a positive relationship, comfortable learning environment and overall friendship where children feel and know you genuinely care about them builds a pathway to learning.I'm very passionate about changing the education system not only for those children with SEN, gifted and talented but also those children who just float around in the middle just getting by.
