In October 2023, I joined a new team within GroupM, made up of business change professionals providing services to mobilise the new strategic vision set by our Global leadership team to future-proof the business and provide the best service, products and technology to serve our clients changing digital needs. As Transformation Delivery Director, I am accountable for delivering strategic projects and initiatives, proactively engaging multiple teams and stakeholders to support the vision of the GroupM UK.

My work in content creation continued from 2020, with the creation of my own Paul Weller Fan Podcast. I created the idea and format, researching and booking guests, planning and recording interviews, and the final edit and webpage design. The podcast has been a regular worldwide chart topper in the music and music history charts on Apple Podcasts and Spotify - with the 180 episode first series "Desperately Seeking Paul" culminating in a two-hour interview with Paul Weller!.

At Wavemaker UK, I held a pivotal role in driving project excellence throughout the organisation.I oversaw the execution of strategic projects and initiatives, proactively engaging with multiple cross-functional teams and stakeholders, all in alignment with Wavemaker's overarching mission - to create unrivalled work that moves people and has a positive impact in the world.I led the Project Management department to deliver complex multi-platform media, content, data & tech projects, ensuring that they were resourced accordingly and stayed on track, on budget to the required quality, measured through project KPIs and stakeholder feedback.Defined, championed and maintained the use of best practice management standards within the organisation, this included the implementation and sharing of best practice as well as the development and application of project procedures, tools and techniques in order to standardise methodologies and realise economies. Provided visible and effective leadership, delivering continuous improvement of project management processes and standards within the department, driving innovation and introducing the latest ideas and learnings from professional bodies and academic research.

As Production & Project Delivery Head in Wavemaker Content, I was responsible for managing an industry leading team across all areas of production and project management.My team delivered partnerships across the UK’s biggest media owners including Global, News UK, Mail Metro Media, Verizon, The Telegraph, Bauer Media and many more.Work covered a wide range of clients including British Airways, GAME, Heathrow, Public Health England and Nationwide.I also created the WM Content Project Leadership Programme to develop project delivery skills and showcase best practice around the execution of Wow Work for our stakeholders.

I spent a decade with Bauer Media - leading branded content project management and production / content creation.Most recently, as part of ADVENTURE, Bauer’s cultural creative agency, I was responsible for the creation & delivery of cross media branded content campaigns across a huge portfolio of brands including Absolute Radio, Magic, Heat!, Closer and Empire via platforms including radio, digital, native, video, social, press and TV.I worked with all of the UKs biggest media agencies, including Mediacom, OMD, Carat, Mindshare, MEC / Wavemaker, Zenith & Starcom delivering over £80m worth of branded content campaigns. I personally led the delivery of creative content marketing activity for brands such as Sky, BT, Coca Cola, Lloyds TSB, Direct Line, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros, Bank of Scotland and Qantas. My team also delivered campaigns for clients such as Virgin Holidays, Sky Sports, Wickes, Cancer Research, Bisto, Ryanair and McCain to a fanfare of accolades and positive feedback from clients and agencies along with the editorial teams that they represent.I effectively mixed the demands of leading, directing and coaching a talented team with running multiple commercial content projects and departments, with an expert eye for detail and I prided myself on meeting and exceeding expectations. I developed excellent relationships both within the business and with agencies & clients and had the honour of being named Leader of the Year at the Bauer Media Advertising Awards in 2017.

In my 6 years with GWR and GCAP Media, I presented & produced a series of market leading radio shows.GCAP / GWR – CONTENT CONTROLLER & PRESENTER(NOW KNOWN AS GLOBAL)2006: READING • host of daily Drivetime Show 2-7pm 2004 –2006: CRAWLEY, SURREY• content controller for #1 regional radio station• breakfast presenter & producer of Surrey’s #1 Breakfast Show.• responsible for all output along with recruitment, coaching and development of a large content team covering on air, online, news & production• responsible for annual marketing plan & spend• responsible for ideas and execution of all branded content2000 –2003: SOMERSET• lead presenter of Somerset’s #1 Breakfast Show• coach of co-presenter Jennie Gow (Now BBC F1 presenter)• created local pages for the station website (KOKO.COM)

BBC – SENIOR PRODUCER / PRESENTERJUNE 1994 – OCTOBER 2000: BRISTOL AND SOMERSETI started at the BBC as a Digital Production Assistant before working my way up to BBC Somerset Breakfast Show Presenter. I progressed to become BBC Bristol Breakfast Reporter, Saturday Presenter and finally Senior Producer on the flagship phone-in and daily lunchtime consumer programme.
