I am a journalist with more than a decade of experience and a focus very much on the ever-changing world of the Internet and digital journalism.In my current role as digital editor of BBC South in Southampton, I have garnered extensive experience of the fast-paced world of online journalism and engaging with the readership, which is an important modern facet of online media.As well as a news sense learnt at two of the biggest regional newspapers in the UK since 2006, a solid working and experimental knowledge of the new tools available to journalists online is a key component of being able to make news stories come alive in ways that print is unable to replicate.
