I was hooked early…and have been building ever since.When I was 11-years old, I started my career as an entrepreneur, accumulating a small client base of neighbors for my lawn mowing operation. By the time I could drive, I had purchased a trailer and more equipment. And by the time I finished high school, I had a full landscaping operation running, with over 40 regular clients and a crew behind me. For me to self-start, see the power of turning an idea into a reality, and bring things together to build a business, had a huge impact on me. I learned how to interact with and service customers, delegate tasks, and all the other fun stuff that comes with being the top dog in a small business. But most importantly, I discovered a passion early: that I love to build things, in particular structures, teams, and businesses. The other passion that has consistently been a part of my life is basketball. I have always played for the love of the game and could not have imagined all the other doors it would open and experiences it has gifted me. The game has taken me across the United States as student-athlete and eventually to the other side of the world, to Australia as a professional player. It’s through these two passions and the experiences that have come with them that have led me to where I am today as a business professional. I specialize in helping organize business processes, managing and leading teams, and finding solutions to obstacles. I do this by practicing good listening, building relationships, and staying calm, yet curious, always looking to learn. I love people and aim to see the good in every person and situation. And while very competitive and aim to win, helping others succeed brings me even greater satisfaction. When I’m not working, you can generally find me with family or friends, on a basketball court either coaching or playing, getting dirty in the garden, or learning/trying something new...all with a smile on my face!
