Evaluate changes made in regulatory and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) publications. Seek out redundancies in aircraft systems designs. Propose changes to FAA MMELs via the Flight Operations Evaluation Board process. Coordinate with Line Maintenance, Maintenance Operations Control, Flight Crews and Cabin Crews for compliance with MEL procedures and their interpretation.• Developed and implemented a structured internal review process to ensure that all MEL stakeholders’ concerns were addressed.• Consolidated seven different versions of the MEL Preamble into one comprehensive document that could be used across the entire Air Canada fleet. This eliminated many contradictions and clarified many ambiguities.• Maintained and issued revisions to the MEL Manuals for the Airbus 319, 320, 321, 330, Boeing 747-200, 747-400, 767-200, 767-300 and Douglas DC-9. Many of these revisions were developed simultaneously.• Created a MEL Development Checklist as a job aid to ensure that all regulatory and company requirements were met when preparing MEL manual drafts. This resulted in consistency and a substantial reduction in comments from Transport Canada.• Collaborated with Transport Canada to propose changes to the Transport Canada MMEL Guidance Book which was overdue for revision.
