As an auditor for the United States Department of Agriculture, I primarily enforce the financial protection provisions of the Packers and Stockyards Act and regulations. I carry out activities of the Financial Unit of the regional office in order to effectively integrate the unit's responsibilities with those of the other work units within the office. I independently, or as a leader of an audit investigation team, plans, designs, organizes, and/or conducts complex compliance reviews and investigations of large and diverse registrants, packers, and live poultry dealers operations within the assigned geographic area and subject to the Act. I conduct compliance reviews and investigations to determine if entities are acting in violation of the Packer & Stockyards Act and associated regulation. As the leader of a team project, I provide advice and guidance on the audit methodology, monitors the technical accuracy, and reviews the analysis, concepts, and conclusions upon completion of the audit. I assist in the training of new technical employees hired by the Agency. I prepare comprehensive audit reports of investigation findings. I work closely with the Senior Auditors and Financial Unit Supervisor in the preparation of regional office audit plans, schedules, and in the development and application of review and investigation procedures. I serve as a technical expert in reviewing and resolving financial report and audit issues specific to the investigation.

As a Platoon Sergeant for the US Army I was responsible for the direct management of teams totaling 30 personnel. I was responsible for the maintenance and operation of equipment in excess of 5 million dollars. I established, executed and tracked a company training and evaluation program for 12 junior leaders. I have excelled in many stressful environments and have had my leadership capabilities tested in some of the worlds most volatile areas. I have prepared, trained, and evaluated 500 Soldiers during mobilization exercises in preparation for future deployments to OIF/OEF. I have trained foreign military's in basic combat operations in Africa, Iraq, and Korea.

While working for TD Williamson I was trained on their line of hot tapping and line stopping equipment. I worked on job sites throughout the western united states for some of the largest oil and gas companies in the U.S. I was responsible for working with the pipeline operators and coordinating with TDW's office. I was responsible for submitting my own expense reports at the end of each week and reconciling my company account.

As a Welder for Caterpillar, I assembled large tractor blades and buckets. I assembled these items using Gas Metal Arc Welding. I was responsible for ensuring that the piece of equipment passed Caterpillars quality control program on the first attempt. I used mechanical blue prints to help with the assembly. I used cutting torches and other metal working tools on a daily basis.
