Project Manager Telent – EE/NSN SW Upgrade Project. End to end delivery, site Civils upgrade incorporating the AC Link Cabinet and Huawei 3900 build through to the existing OUK Cabinet swap. FSO RAN Project Engineer Tech LeadContracted to Ericsson/// UK with the FSO MBNL/EE/OUK Incident Managed Service Network Team. • Working and coordinating closely with the Business Network Analysis Team, focusing on daily throughput and performance.• Looking at Network performance and mapping Geo hot spots.• Working to reduce Incident out of SLA tickets and focus on overall fault trouble shooting locally and remotely. • Nokia 3G, Ericsson 2G Nortel 2G S4000, S8000 Huawei 2G/4G LTE re-fresh faults. • Team of 29 which covers RAN Support TAC Planners and cross trained Field Engineers. The team is deployed on a weekly basis depending on Network availability and performance.• Huawei FOPS/QA team deployed to carry out onsite fault diagnosis. • Indentify faults e.g. Legacy, enabling, deployment or BAU.• Identify and sanitise deployment and build issues with NSN & Ericsson for enabling work issues that are service affecting.• Remote support for Huawei Faults via Huawei M2000 Platform.• Working closely with the Huawei Field Team to resolve Main/Diverse, VSWR, and ALD COOR and other alarm types.

Project Engineer for Carillion @NSN/Orange Completed the TX upgrade for the JBP500 project. Deployment of Field Team to carry out all Transproving from end to end TX Links. Implemented all TX Upgrades on the MSSR Tellabs. All 500 sites were TX delivered on time and within budget. This was a very fast paced 7 days a week project that broadened my abilities to engage, plan, execute and deliver at a high level under immence pressure.

RAN Operations Engr for E/// UK, activation of Nokia Ultra site and Nokia Flexi stack systems. Contracted as Senior RAN Operation Engineer on Ericsson MBNL Project for T-Mobile and 3UK looking over Reparenting, Retune, Activation, IUB Upgrade and Frequency Swap Projects. Main role is to commission and integrate 3G WBTS (Flexi or Ultra) via Netact over Radio, Lease Line and Direct Ethernet sites. Responsible for TX Upgrades on the Radio Access Network. Responsibilities:• Responsible for Remote Commissioning and integration of 3G WBTS (Ultra/ Flexi) • Commissioning and Integration of Direct Ethernet sites, creating and defining VLAN and IPNB on the RNC• Configuring IP Based Network on RNC 450, 2600 and CX600• Implementing of RU10 and RU20 on RNC 450 and 2600• Proficient Experience on NSN NetAct• Responsible for IUB upgrades and Cutover from 1E1 to max of 8E1’s• Remote support for RX Signal level alarms rectification / MHA configuration• All new software release update • Looking over HSDPA and HSUPA Traffic performance KPI over the network• Checking Adjacencies and Handover test results for all 3G CS and PS Calls• Loading and verifying all relevant Licences for Flexi and Ultra sites.• Traffic tracing and call monitoring on sector/ cell level. • Core end data verification includes MSC Data and Scrambling codes varification• Responsible for TNE, ATM and DCN creation• Alarm Monitoring and Fault handling• Looking over Flexi and Ultra WSPC’s and WAMA Card upgrade• External and Internal Re-parenting of 3G ULTRA to Flexi WBTS for T-Mobile and Hutchison 3 UK.• Responsible for Frequency Swapping & Activation for all TMUK and Hutchison 3 South sites

T-Mobile: QA Auditor - Responsible site QA works on all new and upgraded sites. work carried out to the level that T-Mobile requested. The work involved 2G & 3G sites Nokia, Ericsson and Nortel Equipment Rooftop, Greenfield and street works sites. QA works included full drawings/build inspection testing of all site equipment using Anritsu tester compiling all results for interrogation and acceptance full equipment installation commissioning checks, including all BS7671 electrical works cabinet installations and all tower/antenna/tma installations, inspecting feeder jumper lengths, standard of installations this was all recorded electronically including photo’s of all faults etc.T-Mobile: Optimization Engineer,T-Mobile: Drive testing

Scientific Atlanta: Site Supervisor Installation&Commissioning Engineer Jan 04 – Mar 05 - on the implementation of the Callahan (ish) project to deliver quality video, voice and data to the end subscriber. Primary task building of the primary and content hubs that involved the following work to be carried out.Responsible for the installation, configuration and termination of cabling and equipment into various Content/ Primary Broadband Hubs. Responsible for equipment and documentation, involved with site-clear-ups and hand-overs.Tasks carried out include installations of Prisma DT, Prisma II transmitter, Prisma HDRx receiver, ADC Cuda 12000, Path Trak/Wavetek monitoring system, Iris Routing equipment, Arcodan conversion/modulation, driver amplifier, transmission network control system (TNCS) and cable modem termination system (CMTS).Responsible for configuring running identification and termination of fibre from Prisma chassis’ to the ODF.Connection of monitoring system to the co-located Nortel long haul Optera/Metro SDH equipment.

Contracted to install DWDM for Ciena around Europe.Primary task to install Ciena DWDM-WDM systems, working on Long Distance Optical Transport systems. Installing systems such as the Multiwave Core stream Director, Sentry 4000 and a variety of other systems. The standard to which the work was carried out was of a very high standard. I was involved on many remote site installations in Germany, Holland, Belgium, France and Luxemburg that included liaising with site personnel for access and conformation of equipment location. All equipment installed to customer requirements. Optical Testing between routers and TX sub stations.

Lucent Technologies: Installation Engineer Sep 02 – April 2003 Responsible for all Fibre installation on the Lucent 400G systems. Fibre management systems that were worked on were Raychem management systems. All fibres were tested prior to installation, as were all patch cords, also as part of the job I was also involved with assisting the lucent commissioning engineers with equipment installation, testing and maintenance here I gained some experience on the installation of the 400g systems, which was a good learning curve

Marconi communications: Installation Engineer working on SDH Systems I was involved with the full installation of all equipment from start to finish which involved equipment installation all fibre&coax installations from msh systems to ODF etc, labeling, splicing testing. On a number of sites mainly operating in and around the southwest; the work that was carried out was on Marconi MSH SDH systems.

Worked in a team on the implementation and installation of a Fibre link running from Lands End to Bristol. The project involved installing an overhead Fibre ADSS line which was then spliced and mounted onto Western Powers towers, the joints that were used were the Raychem Fibre systems. Testing equipment used for all jointing was the FSM 30S. Also during my time with Fibre Line Communications I was involved in the installation of SDH Systems working mainly in the BT Exchanges this is where I gained experience in STM and MSH systems, the main tasks were to install the fibre and terminate and test also we were involved in the installation of SDH cabinets which entailed cabinet construction data and coax installation and power termination.
