Also, I’m accustomed to collaborating within a multidisciplinary team composed of experts in the field of facility operations, drilling, and reservoir engineering to:● Manage an active CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) flood by solving well conformance issues and either improve oil production or CO2 utilization.● Manage well pattern’s processing rates, WAG schedules, and reservoir pressure.● Forecast oil and CO2 production through decline curves and cumulative dimensionless curves analysis.● Forecast an Oil and CO2 production through simulating reservoir fluid migration of a geo-model.● Determine CO2 supply needed for various development and capital investment options.● Determine reservoir vertical and areal CO2 sweep efficiency through the analysis of varying survey tools [Time Lapse Seismic (4D Seismic), Tracer Injection and Production Logs (RATL), Pulse Neutron Logs (PNL), and Interferometric Synthetic-Aperture Radar(INSAR)].● Determine the probability of geological success for any capital projects using Monte Carlo Simulation.● Optimize well spacing and pattern orientation for CO2 EOR developments to provide the highest Net Present Value (NPV) by using decision tree analysis.● Determine Value of Information (VOI) for any data gathering using Bayesian Analysis.● Present any capital expenditure recommendations, such as new drills, well re-entries, wellbore conformance, data gathering, and multi-well pattern developments to management for approval. Used vertical well GR type logs and real-time LWD GR data to horizontally drill into and stay in a ≈30 ft zone of the high TOC of the Marcellus formation.Performed analysis on well core and log data to determine the organic content, maturity, Poisson’s ratio, and the “frac-ability” of the Marcellus Shale resource formation. Derived lithology, porosity, permeability and water saturation for wells within the Port Barre reservoir unit by tying core analysis to log data. Created structure, isopach, porosity, depositional facie, permeability and hydrocarbon pore-volume (HCPV) maps by extrapolating and gridding log data. Created a geo-model and history matched the simulated production to actual during water flood.
