I have recently graduated from the University of East Anglia with a 2.1 degree classification in Physical Education and Sport (Bachelor of Arts with Honours), and also achieved a 1st in my undergraduate dissertation. This course enabled me to uptake modules within sports analysis, psychology and physiology, and as a result I have become increasingly interested in these areas. Therefore, now having finished University, I hope to gain some further experience and knowledge within these areas as well as any which may become available. I am extremely interested in the job of the performance analysts, and would relish any opportunity to gain experience within this area. My interests also spread to the physiotherapists, psychologists and coaches, where I also hope to gain some experience. I am aware that this is a difficult area to progress into, and understand there may be limited opportunities which clubs may be able to provide, however, I am determined to do all I can to learn and develop in this profession.I was previously able to secure a part time placement with MK Dons Football Club working with the analyst team. I was given the opportunity to assist them in a variety of tasks, such as recording the games using the Endzone Video System when filming academy and first team games. On occasion I was also able to assist with the coding of footage, and gained some knowledge of the analysis software. I believe that I could be of much use as I have a basic level of knowledge surrounding this position.I have been interested in sport throughout my life, both through practical participation, and the critique and development of other athletes performances. I would value any amount of experience which may become available, and would try to be as flexible as possible in order to meet arrangements.
