Hi, my name is Danny! I have a lot of interests, and tons of strange experience in a variety of fields!I have a very diverse background and education in a variety of engineering and scientific fields. I recieved a BS in nuclear engineering from PSU in 2015, and have continued my education, graduating with a post-baccalaureate certification in cybersecurity from PSU in 2017, and moved forward to complete my masters in the same topic in 2019.I began to develop an interest in programming soon after, and enrolled at Shippensburg University to pursue a masters in computer science. While in school, I developed a keen interest in high performance computing, completing all of the relevant classwork as well as tailoring my education to include independent studies related to high performance computing topics in C, including the POSIX threads library. In December of 2023 I completed my degree, an M.S. in Computer Science with a cumulative GPA of 3.369. I plan on continuing my education in mathematics in the future.I have had a variety of positions including my time with General Dynamics where I worked as a system engineer on the nuclear side of the subs. I also worked as a reactor engineer at Dominion Energy, before leaving to pursue my studies. I currently work as a cyber security journeyman for I3PG LLC, as a cyber security subcontractor to DHS CWMD. I provide cybersecurity, systems engineering, and algorithmic support on a variety of nuclear detection programs. I love animals, and have two dogs of my own. Vintage electronic restoration is one of the reasons I got into computer science to begin with! I also raise carnivorous plants and am an amateur mycologist. I love reading and programming in my spare time, and working on motorcycles.
