Serves as a command headquarters level program analyst, applying aircraft maintenance/logistics experience to analyze, develop, and evaluate issues, develop, and coordinate recommendations to resolve substantive problems and issues of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in a major command program.

• Directs incoming and outgoing aircraft near terminal area to assist pilot’s maneuvering of the aircraft on ground, using hand or light signals or drives “Follow Me” truck with guiding sign. • Coordinates parking locations for transient aircraft parking outside transient ramp.• Operates service vehicles to replenish fuel, oil, water, waste system chemicals, oxygen, hydraulic fluid, and to remove waste. • Operates ground support equipment such as electrical power supply and engine starting units.• Performs aircraft launch and recovery operations.• Positions and removes boarding platforms to unload or load aircraft passengers. • Performs deicing of aircraft wings and assemblies, using glycol mixture. • Prepares and documents AF Forms.• Retrieves all drag chutes from runway and taxiways when required.• Coordinates with Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants (POL), for fuel delivery as required, coordinate maintenance or service requirements with the MOC, removal of foreign objects, etc.)

• Provides program/project management and analytical support for Tactical Data Links (TDL) network requirements, planning, and integration with air, space and terrestrial networks• Assists in managing requirements development, validation, and prioritization through Joint Capability Integration Development System (JCIDS) processes• Identifies technical, operational and acquisition factors that impose risk to achieving Airborne C2 integration objectives• Conducts operational feedback, analysis, and technical/operational evaluation of existing and emerging data link concepts and airborne C2 capabilities• Participates in both technical and operational community discussions with the ability to summarize and communicate TDL needs and issues related to emerging concepts• Provides technical, analytical, cost and life cycle expertise to support the integration and implementation of TDL systems across the USAF• Functions as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned systems. Employ SME expertise to assist operational users and provide constant liaison between operational users and product centers/program offices• Coordinates, facilitates, and supports requirements definition, refinement and validation through JCIDS processes to include but not limited to include development of JCIDS documents and supporting requirements analysis documents. • Provide technical, analytical, cost, and lifecycle expertise.• Assists in developing plans for sustainment and modernization of airborne gateway systems, to include integrated logistics support, maintenance, and training• Guides efforts required by Air Force Instructions to gain certification and accreditation in support of System Security Accreditation Authority, Certificate to Operate, Interim Authorities, and Spectrum Certification required for systems associated with TDL Transformation programs.

• Assists with the management of all MaxxPro MRAPs at multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations with operational and training missions. • Collaborates with the AFLCMC MaxxPro Logistics Manager, MaxxPro Program Manager at the, MRAP depot and integration facilities on system issues• Analyzes program health and performance to provide advice and recommendations to the government supporting program and logistic solutions.• Prioritizes MaxxPro initiatives to ensure efficient use of available funds to support enduring training and operational requirements for the MRAP weapon systems.• Coordinates and tracks completion of Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), One Time Inspections (OTIs), safety of use messages (SOUMs), maintenance advisory messages (MAMs), and quality deficiency reports (QDRs) with MAJCOMs, AFLCMC, and field units.
