Air Quality Program Manager
Current• Manage the Southern Ute Indian Tribe Air Quality Program to ensure all current air quality tasks and projects are completed. Responsible for the daily oversight and management of the regulatory and air quality planning sections of the Air Quality Program, including implementation of Clean Air Act regulatory programs and operation of a state and local ambient air quality monitoring network. Responsible for the administrative and technical oversight of day-to-day program objectives including supervision of nine air quality personnel and coordination with state and federal agencies, the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and State of Colorado Environmental Commission, Tribal Council, regulated industry and local environmental organizations on proposed and current air quality projects involving complex technical and legal issues such as federal and tribal air quality regulations, environmental enforcement actions, preparing tribal comments on federal rule-makings and legal correspondences. Development and management of operating budgets, including obtaining and complying with federal Clean Air Act grants, such as work plan development, progress reports, and budget tracking.
