Mr. Danny Hughes, PE, PMP, is a licensed Professional Engineer, Engineering Leader, and Project Manager with over 40 years combined experience in leadership, project management, design engineering, system engineering, construction oversight, plant operations, supply chain, quality control, testing, causal analysis, failure modes analysis, and training in support of nuclear power, fossil power, the Department of Energy and general industry. Mr. Hughes’ background includes over 20 years of leadership experience with responsibility for groups from four to over 80 employees, including engineers, project managers, NDE specialists, skilled craft, procurement specialists, quality control inspectors, quality specialists, and warehouse personnel. In addition, he served in Nuclear Emergency Response Organizations in various Technical Support Center and Emergency Operations Facility roles including Engineering Manager, Support Manager, Communications Manager, Support Superintendent, and Support Engineer. In these diverse roles, Mr. Hughes gained experience in mechanical design, system engineering, code programs, construction engineering, project management, contract management, plant operations, quality control, industrial safety, nuclear safety, post-modification testing, operability determinations, temporary modifications, rigging evaluations, maintenance, training, supply chain, planning, scheduling, finance and cost control.
