- Design of high-performance components, assemblies and tools for motorsport.- Managing all stages of design development, through manufacture and delivery.- Building and managing BJR’s rapid prototyping facilities.- Data acquisition and analysis, race strategy development and vehicle dynamics support for professional Supercar team.- Responsible for building and maintaining the car’s electrical systems, including building wiring looms and programming various on-board systems.

- Solidworks CAD modelling, drawing and product design. Specialising in sheet metal design for vehicle storage.- Concept and detailed design of everything from vice slides, to HVAC ducting, to truck bodies.- Building a back catalogue of Caddy's product range, with the aim of refining and streamlining the production department - including CAD models, Bill of Materials, cut lists, fitting instructions and all documentation.- Building, commissioning and utilising testing rigs for certification.- Managing large projects through from design to manufacture and installation. Including liaising with each department, with the customer and working directly with our factory workers.

After stepping back to concentrate on my final year of studies, I remained in an advisory role to the team:- Providing technical and management advice- Helping construct project timelines, design and testing plans- Running various tutorials for junior members

UTS Motorsports represents the University of Technology, Sydney in the Formula SAE (F-SAE) Australasia Competition - an international competition where university students design, fabricate, and race an open-wheeled race car.In 2013 UTS Motorsports placed 9th overall from 23 teams, with a personal best 7th place in the Engineering Design event. I held the Team Leader role, taking central responsibility for leadership, project and technical management. Team Leader - 18 team members- Coordinating a large team of volunteer students, running meetings and acting as a central manager for all members - while also liaising with external stakeholders. Project Manager - 2013 FSAE project- Responsible for the overall running of the project, including keeping track of deadline, budget and resource requirements. Technical Director - UTSM13- Overall responsibility for the design and build of the vehicle. Managing system design integration, tracking performance targets and goals, overseeing the manufacture and structuring the testing program.In addition to this I also had several more specific technical responsibilities, including:- Section management of the Engine and Inputs/Controls sections of the vehicle - overseeing the design of each section- Detailed design of the Pedalbox assembly - including CAD design, Finite Element Analysis, manufacture and assembly- Engine calibration (Motec M400) and dynamometer testing, including commissioning a new dynamometer- Machining and Fabrication - including in-house manual lathe, manual & CNC mill, laser cutting and TIG welding of internally designed parts- Data analysis (Motec i2) - performance and diagnostic, including driver training and training others

Project included a ground-up rebuild of the previous year's vehicle, including redesigned driveline and cooling packages.- Responsible for adaptation, design and manufacture of the new driveline package- Responsible for testing and upgrade program for dry sump oil system- Managing the overall vehicle through the testing & rebuild phases- Continuing PR role from previous yearCompetition Results: 8th overall, a best ever result for UTS.

Tutoring 'Mechanical Design 1': - Solidworks tutorials - with a particular focus on component and assembly design, bearing selection and combining hand calculations with Computer Aided Design- Warman 'Design & Build' Project Workshops - supervising students, teaching basic hand tool skills and ensuring they remained safeTutoring 'Introduction to Mechanical & Mechatronic Engineering'- Teaching basic 'statics' mechanics problems in the classroom- Solidworks tutorials - with a focus on design intent and engineering drawings- Assignment marking.

Assistant to the Workshop Manager. Liasing with customers and suppliers both over the phone and in person, managing bookings, liasing with mechanics in workshop etc.

6 Month Internship. Everything from report writing, to video production, to working on vehicles.
