The Diagnostic Clinic is a subsidiary of Florida Blue under the GuideWell family of companies and is a multi-speciality group with three offices in North Pinellas. The Division of Ophthalmology has three physicians who practice General Ophthalmology. As the Ophthalmic Technician I, I was responsible for the flow of patients as well as assisted in the work up patients. I effectively carried out scheduling and coordinating patient's for outside testing and referrals. Additionally I was able to utilize my Optical experience in assisting our onsite Optical as a backup to fitting, adjusting and dispensing prescription eyewear.

"Enhancing Vision, one job at a time." Future Optics manufactured optical lab jobs as a small laboratory that packed a punch in the market with backing from an Industry leader. I was able to multi-task in my position in producing quality prescription eyewear as well as quality control within all areas of the lab. Additionally I was charged with managing the billing and data entry of over 50 clients.

Ryczek Eye Associates has been a community Eyecare staple for more than 20 years, providing complete Eyecare and Optical services. The office has always been extensively involved in Ocular research. As an Optometric Technician, I was responsible for the preliminary workup of patients for Optometric/Ophthalmic exam, and was able to utilize my experience in Optical in the fitting, adjustment, and dispensing of eyewear. I also pitched in with the team to check Patients in, schedule, and keep track of contact lens ordering and inventory.

Established in 1989, Unilens Vision Inc., through its wholly-owned subsidiary Unilens Corp., USA, located in Largo, Florida and its wholly-owned subsidiary Unilens Vision Sciences Inc., develops, licenses, manufactures, distributes and markets contact lenses. My work as a Lathe operator included performing lathing and milling operations within strict specifications. I excelled at machine setup, programming, and all lathing operations. Additionally, I used the ZYGO laser interferometer and other lab inspection tools.

I was able to provide eyewear styling choices, as well as the fitting and adjustment of eyeglasses to Sears Optical patients. Additionally, I worked with the independent Doctor of Optometry in the workup of the patients for examinations.
