Ships in the Night -With a polite, and hushed "excuse me" I pass folks in the grocery, never making eye contact.-A confused mix of the feelings of courtesy and watered down inhumanity -swirls in the wake-Not being expected to honor the other, but negligent to offer the basic respect of acknowledging another's presence-When I am not mindful of the impact of the goods and services I support,-When I parrot doctrine without truly acknowledging all parties,-When I pass You in the grocery without eye contact,-I am left staring at the swirls in the wake,-Because I am not at the helm,-And have not yet realized,-That the swirls in the wake are,-Karma.
