Later VoiceStream became a stand-alone company and then later sold to Deutsche Telekom to become T-Mobile. Western Wireless CellularOne was sold and and operated as Alltel Communications, now Verizon.>MCI and Lockheed Missiles and Space Company created a joint venture named MCI Lockheed Satellite Corp. which was the first company to request FCC authorization as a Specialized Common Carrier using satellite based communications. Later became Satellite Business Systems (SBS), a division of IBM. MCI later re-acquired SBS.>DataAmerica Corporation, Vienna, Virginia.>Deep Ocean Work Systems, Inc. San Pedro, CA.
