Off and on for many years worked in and around the broadcast, film and television industries starting as a child dress extra. Progressing from there to production assistant, assistant director, production manager, director and producer specializing in independent productions, documentaries and commercials.Construction included, electrical, tilt-ups, towers, specialty restaurants and quite a number of banks for Coast Federal in CaliforniaThe greatest challenges have been, and the most fun are start-up companies, a partial listing of start-up and/or early involvement includes;>MCI Communications (Microwave Communications Inc.)>Consulted w/ Southern Pacific Railroad on their SPR Internal Network Telephony system, later became Sprint>Control Data Corporation - CDC started with surplus US Navy desks and built model 160's inside>MCI Cellular Telephone Company, became McCaw Cellular- CellularOne then AT&T Wireless, then Cingular Wireless and now back to AT&T.>Western Wireless, Inc., Bellevue & Issaqua, WA resurrected the CellularOne brand and also formed VoiceStream Wireless. Later VoiceStream became a stand-alone company and then later sold to Deutsche Telekom to become T-Mobile. Western Wireless CellularOne was sold and and operated as Alltel Communications, now Verizon.>MCI and Lockheed Missiles and Space Company created a joint venture named MCI Lockheed Satellite Corp. which was the first company to request FCC authorization as a Specialized Common Carrier using satellite based communications. Later became Satellite Business Systems (SBS), a division of IBM. MCI later re-acquired SBS.>DataAmerica Corporation, Vienna, Virginia.>Deep Ocean Work Systems, Inc. San Pedro, CA. Sold to Sun Shipbuilding.>Consulted w/ FleetCall, the company went public as Nextel.>Deep Submergence Recovery Systems, Inc., Long Beach, CA, sold to Hughes ToolCo.>Undersea Mapping Systems, Ltd., Woodland Hills, CA. sold to Litton Systems.Specialties: Start-up companies, I dearly love start-ups.

Senior Manager - National ImplementationTelecom Transport Managment, Inc. 2005 - Feb 2010TTM: Scaleable, Reliable, Cost Effective and IP Ready.Telecom Transport Management (TTM) was started by wireless industry founders from the McCaw Cellular executive team. Joined by early leaders of the CLEC industry we saw that the lack of cost-effective and scalable backhaul alternatives would create operational and financial barriers for the wireless operators to transition to 3G, 4G, LTE.To address that need, TTM provided protected end to end, fully managed TDM (DS1, DS3, OCx) and Ethernet backhaul solutions to wireless operators at market altering price points. TTM built and operated regional backhaul networks from the cell sites back to the wireless carrier's switches. TTM followed a "fiber-first" model and then employed microwave extensions to maximize market coverage. TTM served hundreds of cell sites in each market. TTM eliminated the need for wireless carriers to commit capital to build out their own expensive backhaul infrastructure and was able to achieve the highest economies of scale with the latest technologies in any market.
