Daniel Pohl is the Managing Director of New/Digital Media at NextGen New Media. Dan brings over 20 years of executive management experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Product Development and Strategic Planning to NextGen.Prior to joining NextGen, Mr. Pohl served as the Vice President of New/Social Media at Danya International, a health communications firm located in Silver Spring, Maryland.Previously at Danya, he served as the Vice President of Information Technology Services and Solutions, managing all aspects of technology for the company including design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide systems. Prior to joining Danya, Mr. Pohl founded or co-founded three cutting-edge, Internet-related companies and with his technical and business vision enabled these organizations to secure early venture funding and progress to viable businesses. Mr. Pohl also served as the Director of Internet Strategies and Services for IBM in Washington, DC, where he led the design of the consulting methodology for IBM's Institute for Electronic Government. Mr. Pohl held a number of management positions in business development, product management, sales, and marketing at Lotus Development Corporation prior to their acquisition by IBM.
