-With a hybrid team of academic researchers and local activists contributed to developing source of inquiry, methodology, implementation and outreach to partner departments and external stakeholders to document working conditions in the "gig economy" and make policy recommendations. -Through interviews and policy research, develop a set of recommendations for the City's enforcement of existing labor laws vis-a-vis the "gig economy", which were included in final report to commission.

- Covered public policy with a focus on San Francisco city government, extending nationwide and internationally, especially where policy intersects with the business of technology, per the readership and identity of the publication.- By end of tenure I assumed full responsibility for editing and publication of 3-5 articles each day, in addition to conceived, reported and wrote 3-4 articles of my own each week.- Developed sources and relationships, attend events, conferences, trials, hearings, and protests.Maintained a tight production schedule and write articles relying on original reportage and research.- Produced and hosted an experimental 24 hour broadcast covering issues of awfulness throughout the tech industry and its cultural impact, in addition to regular appearances on the weekly podcast.
