Informally known as the Big Ten Alumni Alliance, D1 Partners LLC is a business jointly owned and directed by 11 members of the Big Ten Conference alumni associations. The purpose of this alliance is to create new revenue streams by pursuing and securing national sponsors and advertisers.• Sole director and initiator of project resulting in the formation of a company to coordinate advertising in 11 of the Big Ten alumni magazines• Gained political support and financial investment of all public Big Ten alumni associations for development and incorporation • Responsible for hiring and managing national and university sales staff, coordinating account management and commissioned research• Dedicated in guidance of program from initial conceptualization in 2009 to incorporation as LLC in 2011

The Purdue Alumni Association is the nation’s ninth largest dues paying alumni association. This self-governed and self-funded nonprofit takes pride in its entrepreneurial spirit and service to the University. • Directed all marketing efforts of the Purdue Alumni Association including branding, campaign development and membership acquisition strategy resulting in increased membership and retention• Oversaw corporate partnership and affinity services program with revenue in excess of 1.5 million in FY11• Authored strategic plan guiding the Purdue Alumni Association from 2011 until 2016• Promoted the alumni association by developing, strengthening and maintaining critical relationships with diverse stakeholders including: corporate partners, Purdue campus administrators, faculty, development and athletics staff, which provided a stronger and more collaborative campus network• Represented Purdue Alumni Association at community and alumni events often serving as emcee and guest speaker• Oversaw annual member fundraising campaigns and secured benefactors for the Indianapolis Boilermaker Ball leading to a sold-out event• Coached and provided leadership to membership staff leading fuller engagement by team• Lead team to evaluate, select and implement a digital customer relationship management tool for the association in an effort to modernize online presence and member interaction• Won 2010 AAF-NCI Electronic Best of Show ADDY for videos promoting membership
