Installation, repair, maintenance and configuration of on-air broadcast systems.

As an operator I monitored multiple HD and SD feeds for E!, Style, Esquire and G4 domestic and international networks using Harris/Imagine ADC and Miranda/Omnibus iTX automation. ● Ensured that outgoing feeds met industry standards for video/audio levels.● Responded to equipment, automation or media failures to maintain feed integrity.● Error-checked and reconciled playlists against traffic logs to assure accuracy.● Verified that correct subtitles and languages aired for international audiences.● Performed quick turnaround of daily E! News programming under tight deadlines.● Remotely operated overseas broadcast systems via IP with Radmin software.● Prepared and quality-checked electronically delivered media files prior to air.

In Cable Operations at Fox I monitored multiple feeds including FX, Speed, National Geographic, FX Movie, and Fox Soccer Channels using Harris/Imagine ADC automation software. ● Error-checked, edited and manipulated playlists to accommodate changes and program delivery.● Reconciled on-air playlists against printed traffic logs to assure accurate programming.● Recorded video feeds from satellite and fiber to tape or DDR for later broadcast.● Prepared, ingested and quality-checked programming content delivered on various tape formats.

In this position, I assisted the Vice President of Maintenance/Engineering by supervising daily operations in department. ● Scheduled a group of 20 engineers on three shifts in a 24/7 facility.● Managed broadcast equipment inventory and tracked rentals.● Generated various reports and other technical projects.
