Responsible for all IT management including budget, procurement, vendor management, software selection, project management, BI/data warehousing development, and daily infrastructure/customer support.• Managed project for consolidation of back-office functions from plant locations to new corporate headquarters in downtown Chicago. Project which was completed on-time and under budget included design/build-out of office space, new state-of-the-art data center and hosted VOIP phone system. Synergies achieved allowed for reductions in staff and process standardization.• Led redesign of corporate network connecting HQ, 3 plants and 2 distribution centers via Watchguard firewalls and VPNs. Upgraded locations to Cisco switchgear and wireless. Negotiated new contracts with telecom providers resulting in significant monthly savings.• Directed consultants during upgrade and redesign of Sage MAS100 ERP system to support new direction for manufacturing finance moving from Lot to Standards based accounting. Project enabled visibility for the first time into cost variances for both material usage and direct labor allowing management to target inefficiencies in the manufacturing process. Project was completed on time and significantly under budget.• Designed and implemented Microsoft SQL based data warehouse with staging environments to combine data from J.D. Edwards and Sage ERP systems. Normalized data was used to produce consolidated financials and feed QlikView BI applications.• Implemented SolarWinds Helpdesk for management of all IT support issues. System supported improved customer service and service levels across the multiple sites.• Selected and implemented FaciliWorks (CMMS) from CyberMetrics for processing of manufacturing maintenance requests and tracking of parts inventories and usage.

Also included in the project were Symantec Antivirus, Symantec Backup Exec, QlikView BI and hosted ADP HR/Payroll.• Directed consultants for the re-implementation of J.D. Edwards ERP system on-time and under budget in 90 day period. Project included setup of RFgen barcoding, CreateForm! reporting and SPS Commerce EDI integration.• Negotiated new software and hardware contracts with all vendors to move ownership from the H.J. Heinz to Golden County Foods. Included creation of volume licensing agreements with Microsoft and Oracle.• Designed and implemented new virtualized server environment utilizing Microsoft Hyper-V, IBM BladeCenter servers and EMC Clariion storage system.
