CurrentDirecting the growth of a department transitioning from a role of strictly internal corporate support into that of one delivering services to clients directly, adding a viable revenue stream without sacrificing commitment to meeting the needs of company offices, departments and managers. Clients include small, medium and large municipalities, public works departments and other consulting firms.-Overseeing daily operations within the department. Receiving requests for data maintenance and map creation or edits from district offices, project managers, engineers, CAD personnel and distributing workload among a team of one manager, one analyst, one technician and one co-op.-Researching new technologies as they become available where required for the distribution of data, notably in ArcGIS for Server ArcGIS online and ArcGIS Portal. Implementing-Implementing and revising policies for the production of GIS products. Standardizing products around industry models such as Esri's Local Governement Information Model.-Managing replication and synchronization of datasources with clients in SQL Express via ArcSDE.-Drafting responses to industry request for proposals (RFPs) consisting of scope and cost. Attend, participate in and deliver presentations at any resultant interview with municipal client. Delivering presentations at water, wastewater, stormwater industry meetings and trade shows.
