Hello, I'm Dan, a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse passionate about providing top-notch care, specialising in cardiac care and paediatrics. I'm committed to delivering the best outcomes for patients and their families through evidence-based practices and a compassionate approach. With a solid understanding of cardiovascular conditions, treatments, and interventions, my nursing career has been significantly shaped. In addition, I'm also paediatric trained, adding a unique dimension to my expertise.After wrapping up my HSC in 2015, I set out on a journey to enhance my leadership skills and gain new experiences. I pitched in as a volunteer in various places, attended seminars on leadership training, and worked alongside ambulance crews internationally. These experiences were absolute gold and motivated me to earn a diploma in leadership and management before taking on a Bachelor's degree in nursing at UTS, which I successfully completed in 2022 with distinctions.Now, as a Registered Nurse, I'm stoked to kickstart my long-term career in nursing as a new graduate at Prince of Wales Private Hospital in the cardiac specialty unit and the paediatric unit. In addition to my nursing gig, I also run HB Hosting, a web hosting and design business. Balancing these two demanding roles keeps me busy, but I find it rewarding to pursue my passions and career goals simultaneously.Looking ahead, I strongly aspire to expand my healthcare expertise by venturing into a career as a Special Operations Paramedic. In 2024, I'll be enrolling in a Bachelor's program in paramedicine at UTAS to get set for this exciting career shift. This pathway will allow me to combine my healthcare background with the unique challenges and responsibilities of paramedicine. I'm dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of patients and am committed to providing comprehensive care and emotional support, especially in high-stress and critical situations.Bringing it all together, my diverse experiences, commitment to excellence, and genuine passion for nursing and paramedicine enable me to make a meaningful contribution to the well-being of patients and to make a real difference in their lives.
