Developed marine electronic installation guides using MS Word and Paint. The guides covered the installation and electrical aspects of the installation and components. Installation procedures ranged from physical mounting and wiring of the components to installation and configuration of the software.Worked with various Marine Certification Groups such as Lloyds Register (LR), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Bureau Veritas (BV), DetNorske Veritas (DNV) and others to gain society approval for the marine electronic systems. The approval process required documentation and test reports based on the society requirements.Traveled to various customer and dealer sites to resolve field issues with the electronic engine installation.Worked with UL and CSA to develop documentation and testing for electrical components used in Hazardous locations.Developed a Petroleum Electrical system to meet the ATEX Directive. By meeting this requirement, I learned many EU Directives such as the EMC and Low Voltage Directives.
