I have been exposed both to business-building and turnaround situations, gaining invaluable experience in sometimes complex situations.Pushed by a desire to live more in my adoptive town, I have chosen to join Alitalia, embarking in one of the most challenging turnaround situations that Italy offered, further complicated by the post-2008 depression. There, I have had the opportunity to further push my professional boundaries, turning my interest in aviation into a profession.I have finally joined IBM, enticed by the challenge of rebuilding its Financial Services Sector and fulfilling and old desire of mine: re-creating a business. Overall, I have enjoyed significant success and this experience opened the opportunity to go back to Allianz, my Alma Mater in the Insurance sector.In Allianz Technology, I am bringing together all that I have learned so far, in high tech (e.g., how to design and deliver a product, etc.) and insurance. Here, again, I am heavily engaged into both turning around existing offerings and developing new ones.Recently, I have become a Business Angel, helping start-ups as “Co-COO” and have launched a seminar on „Managing IT as a business, in the modern corporate environment”.What next?
