As the Product Manager, I play a key role with responsibility for the leadership, direction, and management of USAJOBS, a highly visible and a critical IT program that supports OPM’s requirement to collect and disseminate federal job information to the American public. I supervise the Requirements, Planning, Execution and Operations group, which are the core subject matter experts of the team that fully understand how the system functions and are closest to any new ideas and future enhancements for the system. This group is the technical operational management unit that provides critical functional subject matter expertise needed to support strategic direction, balance trade-offs, write requirements, and test each new software release. We are very integrated with the Systems Development unit and are responsible for the full Requirements Traceability and Execution across the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

As the Acting OPM Webmaster, I was responsible for the majority of the agency's web development and maintenance. I lead a group of 25 staff, both contractor and federal staff, to work with other offices within OPM to plan, develop, and maintain several websites and mobile applications using agile development. From supporting National Healthcare Operations, to veteran hiring initiatives, to government-wide background investigations, the Web Team provides state of the art web services to fulfill OPM's needs, as well as the needs of several key government-wide initiatives. Along with projects directly under the Web Team's control, I also worked with other offices to promote common standards and best practices, and also champion agile development methodologies across the agency. As the Web Team's Contracting Officer's Representative, I ensured all contract needs were fulfilled, and I directly managed the team's multi-million dollar budget.

Served as a web project manager and the director of social media for the USAJOBS program. I was one of the subject matter experts for the USAJOBS system managing, implementing, and providing advice and feedback to senior level management on the effectiveness and efficiency of USAJOBS and related hiring and recruitment systems and associated communications to the general public. I was also a subject matter expert for connecting talent acquisition systems providing technical consulting services to federal agencies, assisting them to effectively recruit a high quality and diverse workforce.

Subject Matter Expert and Consultant for the USAJOBS program for the Office of Personnel Management. Worked with the client to facilitate requirements gathering for key enhancements to the USAJOBS system, and managed the requirements process through delivery. Continued to manage individual projects within the program, to include customer support services and user training.Consulted on projects with other clients of MGS to provide requirements facilitation, as well as customer support and training assistance.

Provided support services for the USAJOBS website, and worked with the customer support Team Managers on staffing and support levels, as well as managed training needs for support personnel and end users.

Provided customer support for federal agencies and applicants using the Monster Government Solutions Hiring Management software. Became a subject matter expert, and began to train new employees. Also began to provide support for federal agencies and applicants using the USAJOBS website.

I was the administrative NCOIC for Marine Aviation Logistigs Squadron 31's Aviation Ordnance department out of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, SC. This included scheduling and asset management, as well as assisting the SNCOIC and OIC with personnel.

I worked as a public safety dispatcher receiving all incoming emergency and non-emergency requests for police, fire and ambulance services. Decided appropriate response and dispatched necessary personnel and equipment.

I was a Call Fire Fighter/EMT responding to fire, hazardous material and medical emergencies in the town and surronding towns and cities. I assisted with CPR, EMT and fire fighter training, and also taught school aged children fire safety.

While attending college in Laconia, NH, I lived in one of Laconia's fire stations. Duties included responding to fire, hazardous material and medical emergencies, along with general upkeep and maintenence of the fire station and apparatus.
