Global Mobility lead in charge of the firm's global immigration, tax compliance and relocation program for firm's attorneys and business services personnel.20+ years of experience in the development, management and administration of mobility programs.Extensive experience with the strategy, design, compliance and administration of expatriate programs, relocation policies and processes, immigration requirements and processes, payroll and tax compliance processes related to mobility.Project management and effective organizational skills; ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.Advise on individual and partnership tax implications with cross-border moves/assignments referencing tax treaty positions, income/social tax impact and company permanent establishment risks.Pro-active and able to operate at a fast pace with clients and ever-changing business needs. Anticipates internal and external challenges or hurdles; recommends new and innovative solutions to complex problems.Strong relationship management skills as well as a commitment to customer service and successful vendor managementAct as the immigration and relocation expert and answer questions about policy and processes from employees and cross-functional stakeholders.Support the recruiting team and business managers with visa assessments for candidates and existing employees; communicate guidance on options, best practices, costs, and processing times.Manage the immigration lifecycle for all new hires to obtain U.S. work visas and permanent residency (e.g., H-1B, H-1B1, TN, E-3, F-1, O-1, J-1, and Green Card).Facilitate relationships to manage and support our employees through the entire process of an international rotation, including cost projections, communications and coordination of immigration and relocation procedures, work visas/permits, and partnering with key stakeholders to ensure the best experience for the employee.
