As a graduated Chemical & Process Engineer I am working for four years in the industry. My key competent area is the Environmental Engineering Sector and general disciplines related to engineering. I was worked for 3 years at Ecotech Industrial Solutions (PVT) Ltd, Sri Lanka from June 2019 to May 2022 holding the position of Chemical & Process Engineer. My major job role was to design wastewater and water treatment plants for domestic and industrial applications. I was fully responsible throughout the process starting from technical proposal submission to handing over projects. Preparation of technical proposals, Selection of equipment & machineries, designing civil layouts, producing MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, plumbing) drawings using AutoCAD, preparation of bill of quantities, reviewing, communicating with civil teams, plumbers, electricians & operators and supervision of equipment installations were some of key roles done by me. In some occasions I have produced 3D models using SolidWorks for better understanding of details. I was worked with my team, consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors and labors effectively to complete projects in a timely and cost effective manner. . Apart from ETPs and water treatment units I have designed filtration systems and the plumbing networks of a 15 x 8m (150 m3) main pool and a 7 x 3.5m (15m3) kiddies pool for a residential apartment. Therefore, I am highly competent in all aspects related to a wastewater, water and swimming pool projects My passion towards environmental engineering was greatly accelerated by my first job at Nestlé Sri Lanka factory. I was worked for one year from Aug 2017 to Sep 2018. At Nestlé I was the in charge engineer of the wastewater treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant RO and water treatment plant which were attached to the industrial services department of the factory. The capacity of the wastewater treatment plant under my supervision was 1200 m3 which is comparatively a large scale ETP in Sri Lanka. Smooth operation of responsible units was ensured by conducting maintenance and improvements on time. CAPEX, Sundry, Maintenance and Improvement budgets attached to the department was also handled by me. I was awarded for the best GSTD in the Engineering department and for the reduction of water withdrawal I am holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical & Process Engineering with a second class upper division (GPA - 3.55) . Also I have followed certificate courses in Designing of Sewage treatment plants, Plumbing Engineering and PLC automation
