I was headhunted by Colorado Energy to work as a part of their collections team specializing in long term debtors who are experiencing financial hardship. I am a difference making impact to customers who are struggling using my adaptability and compassion to help a diverse range of people from various backgrounds. Together we set affordable & sustainable payment plans, clear their debts, and identify third party assistance where necessary.I often coach and mentor colleagues, especially newer team members. I was recruited by Momenta to work for a Big Four financial services brand on a contract with a leading High Street bank. Supporting vulnerable customers and non-vulnerable by identifying appropriate arrears solutions

I took a four month sabbatical from work, and upon returning my previous position of Team Senior had been back-filled, and I took the opportunity to return as a collections agent. I have picked up exactly where I left off two years earlier and continue to hit my monthly collections and quality targets. I've also continued to a be a valued member of the team, using my experience to help new agents settle in to the team and be a source of information if anybody needs help. Being back in this role has allowed me to continue to be a team player, share experience and knowledge with colleagues and help customers as best I can by finding appropriate solutions to their issues whilst also protecting the interests of the company.

In February 2017 I was promoted to the role of Team Senior, it was my responsibility to provide coaching, mentoring and the development an ambitious team of collections agents, ranging from 10 to 30 agents. The aim of my role was to build confidence, knowledge and deliver results by improving KPI’s set by the management team. As a coach I excelled at leading workshops, one-on-one coaching sessions, scheduling and analysing data to provide appropriate, tailored and beneficial coaching sessions.I left this role in September 2018 as I needed to take some time out to spend with family.

Prior to promotion, I worked as a collections agent - contacting customers with various aged debt, with the aim of rehabilitating their account, and recovering debt in a timely and appropriate manner through the use of questioning and relevant consequences to non-payment.
