    Reporting to the VP of Measurement, Evaluation and Learning:As a result of feedback from applicants, stakeholders, and most notably the Auditor General of Ontario (2011), OTF recognized the need for a more focussed and transparent investment strategy. I played a lead role in designing the new investment strategy and balanced score card, including leading the cross-province consultation with stakeholders, working with a team of six to develop the priority areas of focus for our grants, and ensuring grant results were able to measure the impact of our granting over time. As a result, in 2015 OTF undertook the biggest change to our granting since 1999 by launching the New Investment Strategy. The Foundation is now able to measure its impact and demonstrate its value to the government and other stakeholdersIn response to seeing a number of excellent studies “gathering dust,” transformed our research and evaluation agenda to focus on actionable knowledge—making sure the evaluations contribute to strategic discussions and have an impact on granting practice; also introduced emergent learning at OTF and among grantees, to provide real-time feedback to improve organizational practices; introduced developmental evaluation to support better outcomes for social innovation projects. As a result, advanced the theory and practice of learning and evaluation at OTF, and indirectly in the not-for-profit sector in Ontario
