Working on a project with an emphasis on the following pretty much industry-standard languages and techologies: Java 2EE, Oracle PL/SQL, messaging with JMS and play framework, python and shell scripting, coding/build environment with git, gradle, teamcity, static analysis with PMD and unit testing with mockito.

Project management for the set of custom software development activities for different clients accross the globe. Working on both T&M and fixed price methodologies. Performing feasibility study, developing a detailed work breakdown structure, doing task estimates, requirements analysis, managing the content of the delivery and the interactions with the customers. I fulfill two roles:- IT Project Manager for the team of 13 people. Acting as a Scrum Master in terms of SCRUM methodology. We are doing an iterative design for the next generation Enterprise-class Java 2EE based SIP telephony server, capable of serving up to 100000+ subscribers. Scrum teams are distributed across the globe. Scrum tracker in use is Rally.- Technical Manager (member of Competence Technical Office) for the whole department of ~80 designers. My responsibilities include:* Technical Expertise: development and retention* System and platform vision for the product;* Investigating RFI‟s for new design activities: feasibility study, ballpark estimate, business requirements translation to technical requirements;* Reviewing new hires and overseeing their training progress* Ensuring the team improves their performance over time. * Project Lead for the team of anti-virus developers. Participated in project planning, business requirement analysis, design & test phases. The anti-virus contains behavioral diagnostics and has a cloud-based anti-virus as a back end. Technologies: C++/COM/WinDrivers/sqlite.* Designed and implemented a system for application virtualization automation and a test bench for automatic testing the virtualization engine and supporting modules on different Windows platforms. Technologies: Self-hosted WCF Services, C#, C++/COM, AutoIT scripts.* Designed and implemented a corporate communications platform API based on Red5, OpenLaszlo, FreeSWITCH, LAMP / WCF Web services+MSSQL, html/JavaScript with rich features set. With this API, one can build html widgets to add a capability to make audio/video/conferences and ring cellphones/landlines from a web site.* Worked closely with other departments such as marketing, sales, test department, UI designers.

Worked on a project to create an extension for the Nortel Enterprise Call Server for Russian VIP customers. - Have succeeded in business communications with English-spoken project sponsors regarding project scope, budget and schedule. - Negotiated feature delivery and content with Russian stakeholders who will distribute this feature to customers.Feature quality and robustness is a key factor. Proposed to build automatic verification suite for this feature, which will work with the Call Server and execute 50.000 test cases on it and execute load, certification and regression test cases. This automatic testing suite saves the work of ~ 100 person-weeks of test engineers.

Sustaining prime for a large software product (Nortel SIP-based Enterprise Call Server). My team owns the full lifecycle of the product. My responsibilities include: - plotting the roadmap for the product - scheduling new maintenance releases and getting them released in time - ensuring the product has the required level of quality (bugfixing, sustaining, sanity testing, code reviews) - third party components integration into the software - delivering new features into the product - maintain the required level of technical skills in the team - interviewing the new hires and overseeing the training progress for themKey achievements for the past year include: - Reduced sustaining team size from 15 down to 4 people, with no impact to quality or issues resolution rate. - Reduced product issues backlog from 45 down to just 2 issues. - Took additional products for sustaining and sanity testing activities in addition to the initial product.

Worked on a project which delivers Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) solutions for Nortel business grade telephony call server. - My team implemented several key items to converge enterprise Call Server with a Mobile Network, such as: sets twinning, call hand over, in-call features invocation from a ‘dummy’ cell phone, single number mobile number, intelligent voice mail bypass, uniform calling line ID, Ring again invocation from mobile phone, management interface for the feature. - Feature deployed to several large customers in Europe.Experienced in all phases of the feature development, including customer requirements review, creating feature technical spec, high level design estimation, creating HLD/DD and FS documents, coding, unit testing, code reviews, submission and verification of the product.This design project has been successfully completed and handed over to sustain; designers were reallocated to different projects.

I was responsible for desigining the part of the QMS (Quality Management System) which is called "Quick Link". The design implemented by me is still in place in the current version of the QMS system.The Quick link design was implemented in Perl under Apache and as a DLL library.CVS is used as a vesion control system for this Quick Link feature.

I was respobsible for implementing a tool to do a stress testing of our product. My tool suports C-like language and contains the internal interpretator for it. The tool is able to run the script 24/7; the result of this script interpretation is a huge amount of TCP packets generated. These TCP packets contain control data for the VoIP application which is required to properly stress test it.
