Danya is a bioanalytical scientist with strong mass spectrometry, data analysis, visualization communication, and collaboration skills dedicated to improving patient lives. She specializes in targeted and untargeted LC-MS/MS based metabolomics for early drug discovery, target validation, and biomarker research in immunology, oncology, and neuroscience. She is a passionate advocate for students and scientists of color given the impact that NOBCChE and S.H.I.N.E has had on her academic and professional career. She is a professional member of NOBCChE and was a S.H.I.N.E. mentor and program volunteer. Through these initiatives she is an active mentor and leader engaged with developing younger talent from underrepresented and diverse groups to bridge the gap between industry and academia with hopes to develop a more diverse talent pool in STEM.
