• Responsible for organizing, coordinating and helping customers to deliver successful wedding events• To keep Catering & Event Manager informed on competitors’ prices and promotional activities• To respond promptly to all enquiries or correspondence from customers and prospects• To be able to conduct a professional site inspection, whether it is to a single client, corporate travel group or incentive house• Provide quality service to obtain optimum customer satisfaction• To attend sales meeting regularly and other necessary meetings in the Hotel• To liaise with other departments in arranging accommodation, services and special events for booked business

• Responsible for the overall business of catering revenue• Assist the Sales Team in the development and coordination of Catering to further enhance the market• Establish call frequencies for all account and develop business of newly assigned account to achieve high catering revenue• Initiate and promote catering services which contribute to popularity and income of the hotel• Handles all queries and correspondence on catering services• To keep Catering & Event Manager informed on competitors’ prices and promotional activities• To be able to recommend confidently to all the clients alternative choices of venue, dates and rate structures when initial requests are not able to be met• Coordinate sales activities and sales trips to maximize selling opportunities

• Totally understand the marketing plan and identify the specific area for responsibility related to the Catering & Event Manager-Corporate position• Maintain an energetic presence within the targeted market area. Present the hotel both professionally in selling skills and in personal presentation of dress code• To have excellent understanding of the working cooperation of the rooms’ division• Coordinate with other departments to achieve confirmation of business and account servicing• Maintain the work systems established in the Banquet Sales Department, for all client master files, trace systems and sales call reports• Representing the Banquet Sales Department, both internally and externally on future upcoming projects and activities• To assist the Catering & Event Manager to develop and plan sales & promotional activities for effective implementation of the hotel’s objective• To prepare and submit weekly/ monthly sales reports and any special report as may be required by Catering & Event Manager• To carry out duties that may be allocated by Catering & Event Manager from time to time

• Respond promptly to all enquiries, leads and correspondence from prospects, customers and referrals• Efficiently and effectively plan and execute sales calls• Maintain regional sales calls pattern in the area• Adequately service all account as assigned by the Sales Manager• Increase sales to meet or exceed all established sales goals• Properly maintain all files and accounts• Follow and carry out all established office policies and procedures• Maintain a professional conduct and appearance at all times• React promptly to requests by the Sales Manager for reports and other assignment• Establish and maintain up-to-date level of communication with the Sales Manager on a constant basic• Entertain agents/ corporate clients within the hotel to obtain business, for breakfast, lunch or dinner• Prepare for Sales Manager on a weekly Sales Manager’s Report• Establish a good working relationship with all departments in the hotel• Follow up with all clients before and after functions to ensure good service & establish good rapport for future business• Conduct hotel/ site inspection for guest & potential clients• To guide and assist Sales Assistant in Event Orders etc• Any other duties that maybe assigned to you from time to time/ or as and when required
