After pioneering AirAsia Group's Sustainability efforts for two years since April 2017, Daphne passed the baton to other members of the team and returned to what fuels her best, Public Relations & Communications as the Asean Communications specialist at AirAsia Group.

1. Leads a team of 8 junior and senior PR & Events Executives on all media-related projects and events.2. End-to-end project management resulting in at least MYR 80million value of positive PR coverage for AirAsia annually. 3. Organizes at least 40 media events / projects per year involving all other relevant departments and within budget per annum. 4. Sets department direction and provides motivation to drive teamwork and achieving results for each project. 5. Engages in scenario planning and crisis communications management, with first-hand experience in QZ8501 incident; as well as issues management. 6. Started an online Key Opinion Leaders’ initiative that brought together over 400 bloggers across the region (and growing strong) to facilitate marketing communications.

1. Main liaison person for Group Communications within all 8 airlines within AirAsia Group2. Key employee in producing all written materials for senior management in media-related events, with minimal supervision – press releases, speeches, briefing documents, FAQs, fact sheets, emcee scripts.3. Led & motivated team to perform without Manager or Head’s supervision (the department had no superiors for approximately 10 months)4. Created and set new guidelines and SOPs on the PR team’s templates, media response time, internal stakeholders management

Pioneered AirAsia's social media platforms together with hiring manager at that point - Twitter, Facebook, the AirAsia blog; which evolved into award-winning platforms for the airline group.

Absorbed into assigned department with responsibilities including Media & Public Relations, Government Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Events Management3. Revived Astro’s CSR initiatives with various Performing Arts groups in Malaysia. 4. Entrusted to lead company’s corporate events without major supervision.
