Best Beginnings is a small charity, creator of innovative and evidence-based digital resources, including the award-winning Baby Buddy app, designed to educate and support parents to give their child the very best start in life. These resources are free to parents and are embedded into the maternity and early years pathways with the help of a consultant facilitator.

This is a voluntary role to promote implementation of primary prevention strategies to reduce child maltreatment. The aim is to engage with local authorities, local and national politicians and stakeholders to push forward the idea of putting more resources into preventing child abuse and neglect through early education and support - getting in before the damage happens; and also to increase awareness amongst parents, families and the public at large. The goal of the Campaign is to reduce child maltreatment in the UK by 70% by 2030.
